My style of filming is like a fly on the wall! I love capturing the unplanned moments that happen throughout the day because I don’t like everything overly staged. I want your video to be as authentic as possible. Don’t worry! I will still capture the poses your photographer puts you in because we will be working as a team, side by side all day. My job is to capture your day as it happens so you can relive your wedding all over again years down the road!

I take a limited amount of weddings per year to ensure I give each film all my attention when editing. Please check my availability prior to inquiring! It makes me sad when I have to turn people away due to being booked.

I’m on a mission to film 50 couples in 50 states! Ever since I started my videography business back in 2019, I told myself it would be cool to film a wedding in each state. In return, I will eliminate travel fees for you if you are in an unchecked state. All you have to do is purchase a package and the travel fees are on me, it’s a win-win for both of us!

Super 8 Film

What is it and how can I get it?!

Super 8 Film is where it’s at. If you are a fan of the vintage vibe, this one is for you! It’s an old school camera from the 60s that adds a vintage, grainy look to your wedding video! After your wedding, I will send the roll of film out to get it digitalized and once I get it back, I will intertwine it with the digital footage I took on my camera.

The roll of film has about 3 minutes of film on it. I will sift through the footage and use some shots of the super 8 film in your final video. When I send over your final video, I will send the entirety of the 3 minute roll. Note that the super 8 film does not record sound, so it’ll be 3 minutes of video without audio!

Hi! I’m Lexa and I love my job!

I’m a freelance lifestyle videographer based in Michigan and anywhere you will take me. I’m on a mission to film 50 couples in 50 states and I would love for you to be that couple! I’ve been filming weddings since 2019, but my love for making videos goes back further.

I know it sounds cliché, but I really do love traveling and wish to see as much of the world as I can in my lifetime. I’ve been to some places that really made me stop and go “WOW, I can’t believe this is real!”

My favorite time of year is the fall time! I love the crisp air, cider + donuts, and watching football, specifically the Detroit Lions ;)

I love getting hooked into a good book. I like to read fantasy, thrillers/mysteries, and a lil spicy book every now and then! Binging a good show on Netflix is also a fav of mine. My favorite show is the Vampire Diaries!

Everyone has their own wants/needs for their wedding video. Some couples want to have personal audio in the film, whether that’s from their personal vows or from speeches given at the reception. Others are more private and prefer to have a video with music only! I will send over an in-depth questionnaire before the wedding to get your insight on some topics, such as, who you want to see walking down the aisle, what type of music you like, personal audio or not, etc.

Every wedding is different and that’s why I want your wedding video to reflect the beauty of your day and the authenticity of it!
